Located close to the the city center, provides (some) free parking space - which is important in this city. The house design is unique, the owners are very welcoming.
Hard to find (w/o GPS). The bed wasn't very comfortable, the shelf above it was a safety hazard (not too dangerous, but one can bump her/his head into it).

Rooms are decorated with modern art. We were surprised by details we found in decoration. Also in the breakfast area you can find very fantastic pieces of art which were made by the owners. Rooms have a beautiful terrace with fantastic view to the city. The staff are very friendly.

The villa is situated near to the port area and is about a fifteen minute walk to the beach. The villa is a family house with breakfast served within their own garden. The garden is absolutely lovely and the owners are both artists with lots of their artwork on display. The room we had was "The Gentleman" which although small, is very comfortable and has a small kitchenette. This is a great place to stay if you are in Nice for just a few days and are doing some sightseeing.
The only down side to the villa is that you only have your room. There is no communal area to relax. Still highly recommended. Be aware that the villa is situated a short walk up a hill.

Warm welcome, lovely villa and garden, excellent breakfast on the terrace and interesting artwork including sculpture. Good, quiet location near the old port, ideal for walking into centre of Nice (15 minutes)
Room was disappointing - strange decoration (we're into art, but not the colours chosen as room decor), and everything including the bathroom was a bit "tired". However, it all worked and if you can take the decor, it's different and good value for money for Nice. We had expected parking within the villa grounds, whereas in fact it was in a reserved place in the narrow street ourside

Lovely rooms, really arty! Kitchenette in room. Lovely breakfast! Close to Nice marina.
Very limited english by hosts. Villa with a lovely garden and swimming pool, but guests are not allowed to use it except during breakfast. Left our bags for a few hours after checkout, when we came back to collect them we had to ring the bell few times to get attention although they knew we were waiting outside (probably over lunch) - made us wait for 20 minutes in the heat!

The staff were very nice and upgraded the room for me. The room was well furnished and stylish. The little garden is charming. Its really good for a 3 star hotel.
The room was very tiny but good value compared to other places in the area.

the family hosts were so welcoming and friendly and the location for us was great. Very nice breakfast in lovely courtyard setting.
There was nothing we didn't like in particular and everything about our stay at La Villa de Magdalena was as we had expected from what we had read on your web site.

The staff were very friendly and it was convenient to the old port.
More like a B&B than a hotel, it did not have any facilities, like a bar or lounge area

Congatulations to the owners! Everything was superb! Beautifull, clean, excellent home made breakfest. Runned with the heart, the head and the artistic passion. Thank you from Portugal, we will meet again.
